W.E.F. 23.02.2018, German Embassy / Consulates In India will not accept new passports issued by Indian Government, which has the passport number perforated/punched at the top of all the pages, for visa processing until further notice.
German Embassy & Consulate are still waiting for the official notification from Indian Government on Perforation of passport number on new passport.
However, Current Indian Passports ,Which has perforation from the middle of the page will be accepted by the German missions in India.
As per the latest update, please note that with effect from 02nd November 2015, Biometric (fingerprints & digital photo) has become a mandatory requirement for All Schengen Country Visas. Which means that all travelers applying for a Schengen visa will now have to come personally to the respective Embassy/VFS centre for biometric and application submission.
This biometric data will be valid for 5 years and the travelers, who have already given their biometric once, will not need to come personally for biometric/submission for next 5 years.
Following travellers are exempted from biometric
• Children under 12 years of age
• Persons for whom the collection of fingerprints is physically impossible
• Sovereigns and other senior members of a royal family, Heads of State and members of the national Governments (with their official delegations and spouses) if they travel for official purposes.
In this regards, there are very important points that you would need to understand and inform to all your clients as well:-
All visa norms and procedure would remain the same as they are now.
Role of Unicorn Tourism Shall continue providing the visa documentation support, DD making, meet & assist, guidance to the clients appearing for biometric. Applicant just needs to appear personally for biometric and rest all will be taken care of by Unicorn Tourism only.

With Immediate Effect from 16/07/2014, application submitted by agent, applicant or representative, collection will come by courier.

All application need to submit their old passport while submitting the visa application at the consulate , if the pax is coming for personal interview Or personal submission still the pax need to carry his old passport along with with him !!!
With Immediate Effect Passports which are issued more than 10 years ago, cannot be accepted any more, the pax will have to take a fresh passport.

Confirmed Hotel confirmation as per the air tk
Personal & Company bank statement copy for last 06 months of passenger with stamp & signature in all the pages.
